How the Patented Mechanism Works
The Tin Canna® locking mechanism is engineered to meet the highest child-resistance standards while remaining easy for adults to operate. The lid requires a deliberate two-step action — press down and rotate simultaneously — that children under five cannot reliably replicate, yet adults find intuitive and effortless.
Press Down
Apply downward pressure on the lid to engage the locking tabs.
Rotate to Open
While pressing, rotate the lid counter-clockwise to release the lock.
Lift Clear
Lift the lid away cleanly. The mechanism resets automatically when the lid is replaced.
